INTERNATIONAL EXPORT AIR FREIGHT
FORWARDING
Contract rates with prime carriers with minimum transit time and space
commitments give us the edge over our competition and ensure total
satisfaction to our customers. In the last 18 years, air cargo movements
have increased to such an extent that they have now become major factors
in the economics of international trade.
We help our customers save large amounts of freight by proper guidance,
procedures, consolidation, groupage, chartering etc. Jeena has adequate
warehousing facilities for their air-cargo too.
IMPORT AIR and SEA CONSOLIDATIONS
We have break bulk facilities at all our locations. In this section, we
would like to list certain criteria which are specific to doing forwarding
business with India which are as follows :
- No COD shipments are accepted.
- For free house delivery, all customs
dues, taxes and handling charges must be received by us in advance.
- Import Air Consolidation ¨ All
trans-shipments must be only via Bombay.
- Remittance: In order for us to
"guarantee remittance" to our foreign counter parts within 30 days, we
must receive the following documents along with consolidation
- Note : For 30 days guarantee begins
from the day Importer collects Delivery Order.

- Cargo Manifest
- Consolidators
- Invoice
- Credit Note.
- Agreement
- Note : Please note that over and above
these documents, an agreement between both the consolidators and
ourselves must be in existence without which no remittance can be made
by our bankers.
INTERNATIONAL SEA FREIGHT FORWARDING
We have entered into service contracts with several steamer lines
providing the best value for money for our customers. We are amongst the
very few who are operating weekly consolidation services to Hamburg ,
Felixstowe and New York. We also operate fortnightly consolidation
services to other destinations such as South Africa.
CUSTOMS CLEARANCE
All our branches are well equipped with qualified personnel to ensure
speedy clearance of goods.
EXHIBITIONS & TRADE FAIRS
Since the past few years we have been freight forwarders various
national and international exhibitions. We are involved in the total
movement - from packing and custom clearing the consignment at the point
of origin to transporting it to the destination and necessary customs
clearance at the destination, unpacking it and displaying it at the
exhibition. We also handle shipments for several other exhibitions
in the country.

Our offices are well equipped to handle project cargo and over
dimensional cargo. We have handled several Thermal power projects, Hydro
power projects and Telecommunications projects for the Government of India
, Nepal and Bhutan. In these, we have dealt with several multinational
companies like Siemens, Mitsui Corporation & others.
Among the most prestigious cases the Calcutta branch has handled in recent
years are import jobs of 15,000 metric tonnes urea for M/S. Agriculture
Inputs Corporation of Nepal.
